I used to run into that problem with Mentor Graphics back in the day - sometimes you pull in an old library, and the SI/ US customary conversion mucks things up ever so slightly, leaving the last pin of a large footprint off by just enough to cause problems.

Gotta love how parts come in SI and SAE patterns. Makes life interesting; at least we don't have to deal with slugs and smoots.
