It's really very simple

Once I got the x-axis circuitry wired and going it was a matter of about ten minutes to wire up the y-axis.


Mind, I'm just meatballing the wiring, so it looks really nasty. Works, though. I guess that I'll have to run this through Eagle and do a PCB of this when I get it to working prettily.

hmm... have you thought about using the RepRap DC Motor Driver board?

it uses an L293D, which is pin-compatible with your chip (i keep meaning to update the wiki to the one you're using.)

Not really. I'm just focussed on getting a stable xyz cartesian robot running that is really, really simple to put together.

I just want to print some stuff now that Chris (nophead) has shown us how. :-D

Nice little chip there, though. :-)
