Java Comms on Win32

Well I feel a little stupid, a little happy, and a little smart. I wanted to figure out what was wrong with the Comms and after using the Linux version, which I knew wouldn't work, I found the right location for it's properties file. After putting back the win32 comms.jar and moving the properties to the lib dir, it worked just fine. Well I'm getting timeouts but without anything connected I expect that.
For my system, as an example if you want to tweak the wiki a bit..
C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_13\lib\
C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_13\lib\ext\comm.jar

Well, as a follow-up. I have been able to successfully move my stepper motor with the stepper exerciser. I had to rewire it a bit from the original stripboard controller to match the new universal controller.I'm still using my 754410 though. I added the blinking light (Thanks Adrian) and got it to move forward and back. And I had to add some filter capacitors to get reliable communication. I just don't believe anything I guess, so let that be a warning for the rest of you (waggles finger with a silly smirk. At least I got it working finally). I got a sample 233 from Maxim that I used. I don't know if that's what made the difference over my other two previous circuits or whether filter capacitors would have allowed them to work better. Ehh.. I don't really need to find out right now. But I sure wonder!
